Here at Encounter we are believe in being intentional, and we want to be intentional with our spiritual disciplines. Jesus told us in the Gospel of Matthew that true rest and freedom comes in being yolked up with Him. So that is what we are doing, we are getting yolked up, in step with the grace rhythms of Jesus. One of those rhythms is fasting and prayer, we want to be a people who make prayer a regular part of our spiritual experience and relationship.
So every first and third Tuesday of the month we gather as a family in the sanctuary and pray for our community, our families and our church.
