What does it mean to bring Encounter?
God calls us to a life of outreach and servanthood!

Mark 16:15-18: "He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” NIV

Jesus calls us as His followers to the Great Commission, which is found in Mark, and Matthew 28, this commission is a calling, a challenge, a command, for us as Christ followers. Jesus tells us we are to get into our world, spread the gospel, and through The Holy Spirit we will be equipped to do it!

That means we here at Encounter Church have a deep passion for doing what we call "bringing encounter" so that simply means we want to be ambassadors for the presence and Word of God. So we believe we are all called to serve Trenton.

Jesus set forth the perfect example of coming to serve and not be served. We are here to follow His example and His greatest command after the ressurrecton to serve the world and the body of believers. We cannot just receive service, we need to give it.

We are always strategizing ways to better support Trenton and the community around us in our everyday lives. That is what it means to bring encounter, we bring Jesus and the gospel with us everywhere we go!
