In 1 Timothy 4:12 it says "Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity." We want to teach our teenagers to live out this verse in profound ways.
Our Goal is to foster a love for God in our teenagers that seeks holiness and seeks to be an example of right living, deep love in their Savior and their neighbor. While growing their faith to not only believe in miracles but expect them when they pray.
Encounter Yth is a safe place for teenagers to connect with one another and seek practical Biblical Knowledge and grow into strong rooted young adult Christians. Our world is trying to pull our youth down but we want to grow them and develop them into Faith filled, Holy Ghost filled, Independent Disciples of God.
Encounter Yth meets every Sunday evening in The Encounter Center Building at 7pm and lead by Youth Pastor Rocky Chasteen and his wife Olivia Chasteen.
