The Bible is clear God wants to be in close relationship with His children. So many people fall into the trap of believing God is far away and not apart of our everyday lives, but that is so far from the truth. Our God isn't an absentee Father, He is the best Father! God wants intimacy with you!
Our goal for every time we meet no matter if it is a Sunday service or a fun gathering that we put God in the middle of it all and help foster opportunities to see God move and be active in your life. Through the Holy Spirit God is with us always and all we want is too get closer to our Heavenly Father.
Our number one priority will always be closness with God, and seeking His presence. The Bible also tells us to do that we must seek holiness and sanctification. God calls us to give Him our whole heart not just a portion, so here at Encounter we strive for Holiness through the help of The Holy Spirit. We don't want anything to drag us away from closeness with our loving Father, God!
Because of this, the very first part of our vision and mission statement is to Encounter God, so that means when you come to Encounter Church we are a community of Christians that priotortize God through it all. We want to meet and commune with our Creator, we want to be in the presence of God every single day, in every day life.
So not only will every service be an opportunity to meet God where you are in life but we believe every day of life is a God given chance to encounter Him and walk in close proximity with Him.
